Genetics is the science that studies the phenomena of the biological hereditariness. At the beginning
of 1900 it becomes an independent discipline. Genetics bases itself on the researches that Mendel,
in 1865, did on the hybrid vegetables. These researches have confirmed the existence and the importance
of the mechanisms of hereditariness of the characters. After the discovery of the chromosomes,
Genetics subdivided itself in Formal Genetics, than exactly studied the chromosomes, and Cytogenetics,
that studied directly the cel. The discovery of the X-rays and their infuence in the genetic mutations
developed the Radiogenetics. The most recent genetic studies, interacting with molecular Biology, try
to codify the whole map of DNA of the living beings. If in future this coding will never be completed,
probably it will be possible to create really the life in laboratory.
